The Calling
By James Cannon with Toi Moore
In THE CALLING, James Cannon, father of celebrity entertainer Nick Cannon, focuses on ways in which readers will be able to truly acknowledge if they have HEARD and APPLIED the CALLING in their life.
The CALLING will also center on whether or not one’s life is focused on accepting and living what was meant to be their Purpose. Or, if a person is living their life through what is meant to be their CALLING.
More About The Calling
With an estimated 7 billion people living on the planet, each and every one of them are trying to live life by reaching their goals. One way of reaching those goals involves tapping into ones CALLING. Many people do not know HOW to tap into their sense of being that allows them to reach their life’s goal. Nor do they understand how their CALLING makes them who they are, what they are, and why they do what they do. Several people confuse their CALLING as being their PURPOSE in life. The two are not the same, nor are they applied the same in life.
Every person and every thing has a PURPOSE. However, ONLY living beings have a CALLING.
Have you discovered your CALLING?
We will focus on ways in which you will be able to truly acknowledge if you have HEARD and APPLIED the Calling in your life to make you a better person. Or have you applied your Calling toward doing things that are negative, or those that bring demise and disaster, to your life and/or the lives of others? This book will focus on whether or not your life is focused on accepting and living what was meant to be your Purpose in life. Or, if you are living your life through what is meant to be your Calling. If you seriously apply THREE DAYS and THREE NIGHTS of your existence to listening to what’s deep within, you should be able to discover if you have fulfilled your Purpose in life, or/and if you have heard, and are following your true Calling.
Our theory will establish that ALL people and things have a Purpose of existence. With each purpose given to a living being, they are allowed to perform special tasks in their life which permits them to enlighten and enhance their inner self
and the well being of others. A Purpose fulfilled with an object is simply that; a material object that is created for a reason for its existence, rather its for its beauty, its need, or its desire. Our theory will explain how many people do not tap into their Calling or use it to their advantage. Our theory will also tap into how some people apply these same principals of enlightenment to their disadvantage, causing disaster and pain. This book will clearly conclude that only living beings have the advantage of fulfilling their Calling, which allows them to be something special! This book will magnify avenues in which you will be able to truly acknowledge if you have HEARD and APPLIED the Calling to your life to make you a better person and those around you.
From Nick Cannon:
My Father’s ability to guide and inspire is second to none. As a toddler, I remember my dad drilling into my 3-year old mind that I was brilliant and intelligent. He also drilled in me that I was a leader, a warrior, and more than a conqueror. Phrases that were just rhythmic catch phrases at the time are now forever embedded in my soul.
As I got older my father had to direct my ideas and rambunctious energy. When I was a teenager, I wanted to be a tough kid. I loved gangster rap music and even dabbled in illegal activities because I thought it was cool. My Mother, who had been separated from my father since my infancy, thought it was best for me to go and live with my father. Once I was in my father’s home, he taught me what manhood was all about. He taught me to think for myself and not to follow others. He showed me how to have a relationship with God for myself. But most importantly, he taught me to think outside the box and, in doing so I was able to recognize my calling.
When most kids my age were aspiring to be drug dealers, basketball players, or Gangster rappers, my father recognized my ability to make people laugh and my natural gift of public speaking. He told me I should be a day I am forever grateful. In this book my father will help many others in the way he helped me. His insights and concepts in his book “The Calling” are clear and simplistic, yet profound. By him writing this book he has recognized his calling. Great job Pops!
