CELEBRITY AUTHOR AND BUSINESS OWNER TOI MOORE CELEBRATES ONE YEAR AS PRESIDENT OF THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA BLACK CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

On April 16, 2013, Celebrity author TOI MOORE will celebrate the one-year anniversary of being appointed as the President of the Southern California Black Chamber of Commerce, Inland Valley chapter. The Inland Valley Chapter covers areas: Temecula, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, Perris, Menifee and Canyon Lake.

“I am very excited about reaching the one year milestone of being appointed as the President of the So. California Black Chamber of Commerce. Over the last year, I have enjoyed my time and taken on the challenges of setting up monthly mixers, securing speakers, networking with other businesses and business owners, and planning community events with and for the chamber. I look forward to the upcoming year, new events, and activities associated with the chamber and how my involvement will continue to help make a positive difference in the Inland Valley community.”

The Inland Valley Chapter conducts its monthly mixers every 3rd Tuesday of each month and welcomes everyone. On April 16, 2013, Moore will celebrate her one-year anniversary at: da Bayou Restaurant 41789 Nicole Lane #B1, Temecula, CA 92591, (In the Panera Bread parking lot – Across the street from Costco/Red Lobster) between 6PM -8 PM. The public is invited to join in Moore’s celebration, which will feature a cake provided by Sutherland Sweet Treats, which recently opened their new location at 24710 Washington Ave. #10 Murrieta, California 92562.

April’s mixer will feature speaker Eric Leach, AKA, the App Guy. Leach, will speak on the importance of why businesses should invest in apps for their businesses. Eric, owner of Chaya LLC (pronounced Kiya), began looking for ways to help the everyday businessperson gain access to the same quality and technology that Fortune 500 Companies were using. Today, Eric is a motivational speaker and teacher of mobile marketing. His wit and intuitiveness about technology make for a fun-filled environment while you are learning.

On May 21st, Willie Smith, owner of Juice It Up! Temecula, will be the speaker. Smith will talk about the ups and downs of owning a franchise business. He will also share other valuable information that can help business owners know what to expect when owning their own business or franchise.
